In a step would lunch competition in the electronic music market dominated by iTunes, Rhapsody which is a service owned by the Real Networks company and MTV network, decided to launch a publicity campaign worth 50 million dollars, also decided to make great updates in the service aimed competing the iTunes.
The new Rhapsody service updates include the possibility of listening to the music section fully before buying it and also download music videos in MP3 format, allowing to play it on iPods.
And to complete these steps, Rhapsody services will be available in form of electronic shop for mobile phones via America Verizon network through VCAST music service offered by Verizon.
“Real” seems to enter the competition with the iTunes, which appears they haven’t been suffering of any competition from any of the other services available in this market.
