Sony Ericsson which was the largest supporters and users of the system Sybmian UIQ in it’s mobile phones, seems to be has given up on the end and bell the final nail in the coffin of the Symbian UIQ.
Authorization about this decision came from Patrick Olsen speech, speaking on the Sony Ericsson in exhibition of smart phones operating with Sybmian system. The words was too strait the system is dead or in other words could not continue.
Although Sony Ericsson did not provide a specific time frame for the disappearance of mobile phones with Sybmian UIQ operating system and finishing it’s support, but it seems to us very clear that we will not see any new phones from any maker of mobile phones operating in that system.
The Step explain clearly why the Sony Ericsson is going to use the Windows Mobile 6.1 on it’s Xperia X1 as the future direction of the company will be to use a systems Windows Mobile or the Symbian alliance open source system, who will be led by Nokia or perhaps the Andriod from Alliance open phone.
